Computational Thinking Challenge
In the first two weeks of November the whole Year 7 and 8 cohort and the Year 9, 10, 11 and 12 Computer Science students took part in the above competition. Nationally there were over 140,000 students that took part. 55 of our students came in the top 10% of the country and have been invited to participate in the next round of the competition which is the The TCS Oxford Computing Challenge in March 2018.
These 55 students all achieved a "Distinction" certificate. The University also issue a "Best in School" for each age group. The following students received the "Best in School" recognition after preforming exceptionally well in the challenge.
