Teacher of Computer Science (Teacher Training Apprenticeship available)Job Type: Full time. Permanent.
Salary: MPS/UPS (QTS for TTA)

Description:

We seek to appoint a Computer Science specialist who is excited about the future of this important subject and its role in education. The successful candidate may be an experienced teacher, an ECT or an aspiring teacher who wants to train via the Teacher Apprenticeship route. In return, the opportunity to teach in a school with outstanding behaviour and a reputation for high quality, research informed training and professional development.

Computer Science is an essential component of the SGHS curriculum, and we are excited about the opportunities it brings to our students to ensure they are fully prepared for the modern world. Our students learn about Cyber Security and Cyber Crime, App Design, Coding and AI. We are responsive and future focused, so our curriculum evolves with the modern world. We are seeking a lively, highly motivated specialist and innovative thinker to further strengthen the provision in the computing department. The successful candidate will be ready to take on the challenge of developing our curriculum in tandem with the fast growth of this sector.

We have a fantastic team of staff and you will be fully supported by an experienced Curriculum Leader who shares our vision of effective teaching and learning founded on collaborative planning, assessment and instruction.
