Our School

SEND

At Skipton Girls’ High School the aims of education for students with difficulties, disabilities and other special learning needs are the same as those for all students. The support needed in progressing these aims will be different.

All students are encouraged and supported to pursue excellence and to study to the best of their ability. We want all students to be able to experience a feeling of success and achievement. All teachers are required to develop and adapt strategies which allow them to respond to a wide range of student needs.

Please note that our SEND Policy, SEND Report and Local Offer are under review and evaluation by SLT and Governors and updated versions will be placed on our website shortly. Please contact the school directly if you have any queries relating to SEND and we will be happy to help.
