We believe that taking informal concerns seriously is the best way of meeting the needs of our students, of providing excellent service and of preserving the outstanding reputation of the school.
Such concerns are best dealt with on the spot, or within a very short time frame and without the need for formal procedures.
If concerns develop into formal complaints, we will investigate them and apply the procedures recommended by the Department for Education (School Complaints Procedure). All academies must have a complaints procedure which meets the standards set out in the Education (Independent School Standards (England) Regulations 2010 Schedule 1, Part 7. The regulations set out the manner in which a complaints procedure should be drawn up and used effectively to handle complaints from parents of students.
